Classes & Workshops
Classes are held in the classroom of Studios on the Park located at 1130 Pine Street in Paso Robles, CA. While we cannot give a refund, we can allow you to send a substitute if you are unable to attend the class.
Classes and workshops are open to Association members and non-members alike. For the class schedule, instructor and fees, go to our calendar. Students can join at any time.
Classes
Weekly classes with an instructor are offered in:
- Painting (acrylic, watercolor, oil) - all levels
In addition, the PRAA hosts guilds: Life Drawing and Pastel Painters. These guilds meet once or twice monthly without an instructor and are composed of t
hose who have a shared interest in a specific medium.
We also offer an Artists' Forum, a chance to meet fellow members, discuss art-related topics and get feedback on current projects. PRAA members and public invited. Meets third Thursday of the month from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Showroom Gallery, starting June 17th"
Workshops
Workshops are offered to both members and non-members and are posted as they are scheduled. To enroll in a workshop, complete an Enrollment Form, and send the form and payment by check to the P.O. Box indicated on the form. Classes have limited enrollment, and payment constitutes a commitment.
Upcoming Workshop: Collage / Mixed Media

Thursday, March 25 and Friday, March 26 (2 Day Workshop)
$275 for PRAA members, $325 for non-members. Students will have 2 teachers with 2 perspectives who will provide a very creative and fun challenge for "wannabe" artists and way above that. Work at your own level and pick up new ideas . They’ll use a variety of materials including acrylics, papers, crayons ,stamps, papers that you’ll paint, etc., etc. The class will be limited to 15 people.
