The purpose of the Paso Robles Art Association is to provide the North San Luis Obispo County with quality artwork and to raise awareness and appreciation of art in the community. The mission has a component of youth education in local schools and community outreach programs. Finally, the PRAA promotes, displays and offers fine art in a gallery setting.
The PRAA holds meetings on the second Monday of each month, from 10 am. until noon, at our Art Center on Golden Hill Road. Each meeting features a demonstration by a well known artist and is open to the public. If you would like to become a member, you may do so by applying online at this site, at a meeting or by contacting our membership chair (see contacts page).
As you may have realized, the PRAA has a new website! At this time we're working out some of the final details and we kindly request that our members and visitors send comments and feedback to Alex Badasci of Studio Creek Web Design. In the near future the site will continue to be developed and will include more resources for our members and for visitors who are looking for art in the Paso Robles area.
To become a featured artist and have your artwork displayed on our homepage, you need to be a member of the PRAA (Download PRAA Application Form). If you are a member and want your work featured, please send an email to Alex Badasci that includes an attached file, your name, the name of your artwork, and your website address. We're currently listing one piece of art per member and artwork is being rotated randomly on the homepage. Please note that our current Featured Artist slideshow displays images at 960x272 pixels. We kindly ask that you re-format your artwork to fit these dimensions.
