Discover Art in Paso Robles
The purpose of the Paso Robles Art Association is to provide the North San Luis Obispo County with quality artwork and to raise awareness and appreciation of art in the community. The mission has a component of youth education in local schools and community outreach programs. Finally, the PRAA promotes, displays and offers fine art in a gallery setting.
The PRAA holds meetings on the second Monday of each month, from 10 am. until noon. Each meeting features a demonstration by a well known artist and is open to the public. If you would like to become a member, you may do so by applying online at this site, at a meeting or by contacting our membership chair (see contacts page).
Facility Manager Contract Position
The Paso Robles Art Association (PRAA) is seeking applicants for a part-time contractor position. The Facility Manager for the Showroom Gallery at Studios on the Park (SotP) will manage all the activities at the gallery, be responsible for training, and coordinating the docents (Showffeurs), be the liaison to the Studios on the Park organization, and ensure the gallery meets the standards set by the SotP and PRAA Boards.
The individual will be expected to be a strong contributor to fundraising activities, and grant applications. The position will require 20-30 hours per week including some evenings and weekends, and the ability to be on call. Pay starts at $18 per hour and will be based upon experience and qualifications. All of our activities will now be held at our Showroom Gallery and the adjacent classroom, located within the Studios on the Park facility, 1130 Pine St. Paso Robles.

Become a Featured Artist
To become a featured artist and have your artwork displayed on our homepage, you need to be a member of the PRAA (Download PRAA Application Form). If you are a member and want your work featured, please send an email to Alex Badasci that includes an attached file, your name, the name of your artwork, and your website address. We're currently listing one piece of art per member and artwork is being rotated randomly on the homepage. Please note that our current Featured Artist slideshow displays images at 960x272 pixels. We kindly ask that you re-format your artwork to fit these dimensions.
